This was launched in 1998 as a variation of the American Standard and continued until 2003. In 2001 it was renamed the
American Fat Tele it was then part of the Hot rodded American series.

HH and HS Version 1
These models were produced in 2003 and replaced by Version 2 in 2004. They are pretty much an American Series with
pickup variations and a different appearance having no pickguard.

HH and HS Version 2
Essentially the same as the Version 1 except both guitars get an 8 hole 3 ply Black Pickguard and the HS now has a push pull
volume control to split the humbucker.

I don't know the rhyme or reason but some of the HS v2s had the S-1 switch instead of the push/pull switch. Not sure if
it was an availability issue
(as in they used whichever kind of switch they had hanging around) or if it was some years had the S-1 and some had the push/pull.
